Emmanuel’s Pointless Evening

Countries beginning with ‘A’…
Words ending in ‘…eel’…
Football teams’ last names…
Actors from cult movie musicals…
Can you guess the pointless answer?
Based on the popular BBC1 quiz show Pointless, we’re holding a Pointless evening on Thursday 23 March between 8.00 and 9.30pm at Bramcote College, Moor Lane, Bramcote.
All the questions will follow the format “we gave 100 people 100 seconds to name as many… as possible”.
In Pointless, success comes from finding answers that are correct but obscure. The fewer of the 100 people who said an answer; the lower the score!
The evening will be hosted by Richard Hopkins and Richard’s pointless friend. It will include a short talk on “is life pointless?” midway through the evening.
Come and join us (by yourself or in a team) for a relaxed, fun-filled evening as you test your wits against friends.
Admission is free and there will be free drinks and snacks to get the grey cells working.
